Being a full-time daydreamer, drawing has been a part of my life since I was a child. Creating new worlds in my head and sharing them with other people through pencil and paper was always my greatest delight. Growing up with stories from Tolkein, C.S. Lewis, and Miyazaki ingrained within me a deep love for fantasy and the whimsical. When I decide to create a new world, often I pull from the one around me. Wandering golems covered in the petroglyphs of the Hohokam, an evil bogart made of buffle grass. I love illustration, and I love telling stories. From graphic novels to picture books, providing an escape to the fantastical is my purpose as an artist and a storyteller.
